Hi, this is Wackychipmunk 2013 - since I typed up my rushing thoughts and posted them to this blog as the words below, I have since discovered even more information that I would like to share that is probably going to be in the form of links to sites demonstrating what I am going on about :-D ..... As you can tell, I am pretty passionate about somethings that in my mind need to be addressed so I apologise beforehand that this post is rather a rant and a desperate plea, that is kind of what happens when a soul is broken and faith smashed but the story continues and there is light at the end of the tunnel, we are living the middle part of our lives being the middle part of a story, the ending is ahead of us and we affect it for good.

I'm new to all this! Seeking out fellow humans of like mind or who have queries about their LDS faith.
I'm in two worlds, or maybe three, but something's up and its taken me severe blows and some down time as in bed bound from illness, to actually get to the bottom of some conflicts of faith.
Are you like me? The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints came into your life, brightened it up by the beauty of the spirit held by the missionaries and the warmth of spirit of kind members?
Where I stand now .... Joseph died, Brigham took over, changed all the teachings, down through the generations the church returned to the teachings of Joseph, but taints Joseph's name ....current church is warm, friendly, exciting, organised, plenty of order, is fulfilling,
But ....
But ....
When you try to figure out the history, you are frowned upon, then as you read the journals of discourses you discover something very wrong, and find out histories have been doctored, revelation removed and added, falsified accounts of joseph , falsified accounts slandering good people such as Joseph's wife Emma and children...
Things begin to feel not right, why would a church that is true, mess around and falsify Josephs records? And why did Brigham make so many changes to the temple ordinances?
You might think that I am making this up, but I wish I were, I have loved this church, it has been my life for 27 years, three quarters of my friends are LDS, most of my happy memories have been with the LDS church.
It is heart breaking for me to discover in reality the church that Joseph established in 1830, ceased in 1844 and was carried away by apostate apostles who were living polygamy, which practice was not taught or lived by Joseph, but he has been made the scape goat of this abominable practice.
Pureness continued with a break off group, which Joseph's son was the prophet of, I only recently found his writings, uplifting and edifying, made me feel Joseph was still alive in part when reading the words and teaching of the Rlds church, alas they lost their way in 1970's .... at the same time the LDS church began to reform and drop the controversial ban on blacks holding the priesthood.
The LDS church has so many beautiful people in it, they don't know the history, they joyfully attend church blissfully ignorant that the church they believe is the one and only true church actually is a hijacked church ... and that not one temple has the correct endowment in it, in fact there is evidence that the endowment contained no secret words or promises ....
Being a lover of the temple, and a regular attender since 1993, its kind of de-stabilizing to discover the truth. I leaned on this church so much, I allowed it to stress me, pressure me, challenge me, hold me accountable, only to find Brigham Young corrupted it.
What I found out:- Joseph had one wife Emma till the day he died
There are no children of Joseph other than
those borne to Emma
D&C 132 is a fabrication, a blend of truth and

Sections denouncing polygamy were removed
I studied out all I could, researched all sides, examined the stories, examined the evidence and I am satisfied that if you all studied out the same, and prayed the same, you will conclude as I do...
You joined the church because of your testimony of the book of Mormon, you prayed about these things and found them to be true, you get baptised and feel great :-). The spirit is with you because you have found faith in Jesus Christ, you have found that he exists. That he is resurrected and you will too.
You received the gift of the Holy Ghost because you desired it, you felt the witness of the Holy Ghost at church during testimony meetings, and when taking the sacrament .... all evidence the church is true right? Or evidence that the people are speaking by the Holy Ghost.
Then one day, you have revelation or inspiration, and somehow you are told you are wrong, so you began to doubt yourself, and begin to get depressed because how can the Holy Ghost lie to you? You lived faithful right? You paid your tithing, you loved everyone, shared the gospel, carried out several callings, sustained the bishop and the leaders, fasted, prayed night and day, had miracles happen, had prayers answered, and yet here you are, the Spirit has revealed something to you and you are poo-pooed.
What is that about? How could it happen? How did you receive blessings under the hand of supposedly high up priesthood and some things they said were of God, but other things your spirit felt troubled by... how is this possible in the one true church?
Then you carry out a calling and things are not right, you hear stuff from higher up that to you is totally unchristian, how could it be possible? Hmmmm ...
You go to the temple for the first time and feel iffy about the ordinances, you feel unedified rather than uplifted .... it is stuff that does not make sense, and noone explains anything to you! Hmmmmm...
Holes appear in your white as white testimony, you feel it is you, and not the church, something must be wrong with you. You begin to feel forsaken of God, and begin to lose your mind ... you can't trust yourself any longer because somehow the holy ghost that testified of truth to You, is now testifying about other stuff, and its not fitting in with what the church presents.... you are obviously wrong, as the church is perfect, it is white as white, it is God's church.... how can there be any other explanation?
You have several choices .... shut up and don't question, be a lemming and follow blindly, believe you are wrong and they are right...
Or ... ponder over what the spirit has witnessed to you, step back from the situation and consider that the church has altered some things that they have not confessed to, and have kept you in the dark, that the leaders are led by themselves at times ....
Or ... be very concerned, trust in the Holy spirit that has kept you safe for so long, and do a bit of detective work, trust in God, follow your intuition, follow impressions and don't ignore them. If something is up, if your spirit is troubled then you are being given some indications....
Obviously check out your thoughts with scripture too, Joseph smith said if anyone (even a prophet) teaches you anything other than the doctrine according to the bible, book of Mormon, or doctrine and covenants, call him an imposter ...
Try this out on D&C 132... search its history. Would God, who is kind and loving, speak so harshly? Has he ever in any revelation through time spoken so harshly? Did Adam get commanded like this? Did an angel appear to him demanding him to take more wives or he could not become a god? Oops, apparently God forgot to present Adam with several wives ... Adam is stuffed .... see what I mean?
This section is very frightening, and it does a very good job of making any LDS person believe that Emma is cast off, bad Emma!
Was Rebekah cast off too? And lehi's wife? Why only Emma? Can you see that this revelation was in fact a scam, and was perfected

What is contradictory is that no one seems to know about this, Emma on her death bed said she never saw this revelation, the first she heard of it was in 1852. Someone is lying and of course we have been primed to believe it is of course Joseph and Emma that lied, and that Brigham was the bearer of all truth.
This is what I believed for 27 years, I feel pretty ashamed of myself for being so gullible and not to question.... or research, I just blindly believed that Joseph obviously lied, Brigham gave us all the explanations we needed, in fact he kindly made sure that during his 30 year leadership, that all histories, journals, evidences matched his word... just so that we knew for sure that Joseph was the cause of him (brigham) having 17 or so wives and 57 children, yes, it was Joseph that forced him to have more wives than Abraham, who incidentally repented and had only one wife at a time after he was commanded to be perfect, and had his name changed from Abram to Abraham ...:-)
In fact Brigham decided that David had as many wives as he (brigham)would like, once again, turning a blind eye to the bible where the law was one wife .... and the law of the bom was one wife .... in fact Brigham so wanted multiple wives, that he twisted Jacob where it says 'and if I will raise seed, I will command my people or else they shall hearken unto these things' .... ERM he missed that big time, because it was referring to cursings and destructions if you broke the one wife rule! That is what the 'hearken' unto was about!
I love the gospel, I'm glad the missionaries found me, it has been a light in my life, but now I have received a witness of these things, I find it hard to associate myself with a church that slandered the prophet that I love, and slanders his wife and children, I joined the church from my witness of Joseph, not a witness of lies or falsified doctrines, I want to attend church on Sunday with a clear conscience that I am honouring Joseph in truth, and not being part of the accusers.
Yes, I attend church to worship Jesus ultimately, but it would also be nice to know that church was uncorrupt ....
I am sickened by the corruption, Thomas s Monson and his church will soon collapse as truth will be revealed in this age of technology, he needs to come clean and present us with the unadulterated truth, and perhaps we can all petition him for it, or as a complete group of believers in one assembly, rebuild the church taking with it all the truths, and letting the dross fall away, holding on to those that worthily hold the priesthood, and cast away by vote those liars and deceivers.
The church is only as it is because the missionaries teach of Joseph, and the book of mormon, but its more like a corporate business with no spiritual guidance as it is built on a lie, only the pure in heart in the church make the church what it is .... take them all away, and you are left with the equivalent of ivy standing ... ie the good being the tree, where you don't notice what is ivy and what is original tree until you remove the tree .. and the ivy falls to the ground having no strong substance to hold onto anymore ....
Good LDS everywhere....we need to act. We must do something!! There are millions of us that have a witness of truth, and if the true history were revealed, all would want to begin afresh ... no one would want to be part of a lie, its all well and good being a counterfeit, but when the discerning shop keeper recognises the forgery he will throw it in the bin and turn to you for something valid! Let's not go to our graves supporting a church that in fact condemns Joseph and usurped it and added false doctrine ...
Let's gather together, let's pray, let's acknowledge what we truly believe in and pray for a new prophet to lead us, or that God may intervene .... I want to meet Jesus at his return and I want to be standing in a holy place ... in a temple built to God, that is not corrupt but true .... priesthood leaders, those pure in heart, please do something .... let's put things right.
The truth is not upon the earth in its purity, We need God to speak from the heavens ... let's petition him together to bless us all. Let's find a way of meeting together, and becoming a new people based on and living according to the revealed word according to as Jesus taught it, and as Joseph revealed it....
Who is with me? Stand up, arise ... let's prepare a people to welcome Jesus at his coming .......
